Welles Juice Press Components (See Diagram on Next Page):

• Pressing Plate – is securely attached to the frame. It is designed to fit inside the

drip tray and press the juice as the drip tray is raised by the jack.

• Drip Tray – made of a non-leaching plastic compound specifically designed to be

used with food products. Pulp to be pressed can be placed on the tray or in

pressing cloths or pressing bags. When the jack raises the drip tray to the pressing

plate, juice will pour from the drip tray opening.

• Pressing Cloths / Bags – (2 Cloths included) – specifically designed to be used

with food products. Put pulp inside the cloth (fold over). Pressing bags are simply

clothes sewn on 3 sides. The cloths/bags reduce splashing and increase juice

yield.

• Jack – 2 Ton Hydraulic Pressure

• Jack Handle – The handle is inserted into the jack opening at the base and is used

to lift the drip tray to the juicing plate.

• Jack Release Knob -

o For lifting, the knob should be turned all the way to the right.

o For lowering, the knob should be turned up to two full turns to the left. DO

NOT TURN MORE THAN TWO FULL TURNS TO LEFT!

(Counterclockwise)

CAUTION - Removing the Jack Release Knob will

disable the jack and void the warranty.
